Have you ever thought to yourself, “Man, this is some dope-ass ramen. If only there was a patio on which I could eat it”? Well, young dreamer, the ramen gods were listening, and your wish shall be granted later this month. Maybe.
As Pete over at OKCTalk.com reports, Tamashii Ramen — currently under construction at NW 8th Street and Hudson Avenue — recently filed a design plan (pictured above) that includes a dope-ass patio to go with that dope-ass ramen. And if the new venture hits its late-April target, it’ll open right in the middle of patio season, the best season of them all.
This is also great news for Midtown, whose developmental thunder is routinely stolen by its more popular younger brother Uptown. If it’s open in time, I suspect this place will get some heavy play on National Ramen Day. And don’t worry; there will be other buildings around it, despite what the above rendering might imply.
While you wait to get your ramen/patio game on, go follow Tamashii over on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.
