This is no joke. Stillwater indie-rock act Deerpeople have been teasing a new full-length album for a quite a while now, and here it is. There’s Still Time for Us to Die was announced with a countdown on their website, one that expired at midnight and uncaged the once-mythical LP to the world. It’s available as a digital, pay-what-you-want download, though a vinyl and cassette preorder will be available soon. This marks the first recorded material from Deerpeople since their 2012 EP Explorgasm. We’ll have our take on the band’s full-length debut to you soon.
Deerpeople are currently in the midst of a national tour that includes stops in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Cleveland and Chicago, but they’ll be back in Oklahoma just in time to play the Opolis/Blackwatch Stage at Norman Music Festival.
