Ratatat > Chromeo. There. I said it. Is this a debate anyone else has? It’s not that there’s not room in the universe for two fun-as-hell electro-rock duos, but given some catastrophically funky armageddon, I know which army I’m signing up for: #TeamWildcat
Anyway, for those who have seen Ratatat live before, you know what a trippy little delight it is … and that it’s more than worth catching again. For the virgins out there, consider the group’s April 4 date at Brady Theater in Tulsa the perfect opportunity to pop that cherry.
Though a festival favorite, it’s been a hot minute since we’ve heard new music from the pair. The duo is currently at work on the followup to 2010’s LP4 — presumably titled LP5 — due sometime in 2015, and it seems more than a little likely that some of that untested material will make its way on the setlist.
